Will I experience service interruption?

Your service will continue to be free of charge until February 2, February 29, or March 31 at 11:59 p.m. depending on your location. At that time Sprint will shut down the Clear WiMAX network, and your Clear device will stop working permanently. You need to order your Sprint device and to establish your new billing immediately! When will my service be interrupted?

Sprint plans to shut down the Clear WiMAX network starting February 2 at 11:59 p.m. across the nation. Please check the WiMAX shutdown schedule for more information on your city. All Clear devices will stop working permanently. In order for current customers to transition to LTE, you will need to order your new device immediately to avoid and/or to minimize downtime by calling (844) GET-JUMP. That’s (844) 438-5867.

How long do I have to wait to transition to Sprint LTE?

The wait is over! Call us to order your new Sprint device today at (844) GET-JUMP. That’s (844) 438-5867.

What will the new fees be?

The cost per month is $15.75. Unlimited. 4G LTE. No overage fees. No contracts. No throttling. No installation fees. No hidden fees.
Same great program on a more robust network!

Device cost for the Sprint Fuse device is $125. We are working on other device options at this time.

Notes for new customers:

  • Start-up fees for new customers are $50. There are no start-up fees for current customers.
  • New customers, not current customers who are transitioning, must volunteer at, be employed by, donate to, or benefit from a non-profit in order to sign up for the affordable Internet program. This is the only criterion.

Will my service still be unlimited?

Will I have to pay overage fees?

No. You will pay exactly $15.75/month. Please see JumpWireless.org’s Terms of Service for full details.

What should I do with my current Clear device?

Please recycle your Clear device at your local electronics store. You do not need to return it when you order your new device.

What is the new device and which device is it?

The new device is the Sprint Fuse. Check out the specs. The cost is $125. We are working on other device options at this time, too.

How will my billing be affected?

Internet customers have received Internet service free of charge during the transition (November 3, 2015 – February 3, 2016) from Clear WiMAX to Sprint LTE. When you order your new device, we will set you up with automatic billing, which will be the 5th or 20th of each month, depending on when you place your order. The service costs $15.75/month.

What if I have a yearly subscription or paid in advance?

You will receive a refund. Stay tuned for more billing information. Yearly subscriptions will no longer be accepted. We will only accept advance payments for up to three months.

Why can't I just hop on the Sprint LTE network?

Clear worked on a WiMAX network, and Sprint operates on an LTE network, which are different technologies. Sprint is shutting down the WiMAX network starting on February 2 at 11:59 p.m. Please check the shutdown schedule for your city.

Why is this happening?

Sprint purchased Clear. We have fought hard to keep this affordable Internet program going. We are hoping the transition continues to go smoothly.

Which smartphones do you offer?

JumpWireless.org currently only offers the Samsung Prevail 2. As more phones become available, JumpWireless.org will let you know. Just sign up for our mailing list by submitting an online contact form: https://jumpwireless.org/contact.

Can I keep my current phone number?

Absolutely! You can bring your own number (BYON) and/or bring your own phone (BYOP). Check out the JumpWireless.org 4 Mobile Plan.

How does my billing work?

JumpWireless.org utilizes an automatic payment system. When you sign up, you pick from the following bill dates: 1st, 5th, 15th, or 25th of each month. We will automatically bill your credit card the exact amount of your plan on the billing date that you choose. No more. No less. Jump 1 is $35/ month. Jump 2 is $70/ month. Jump 3 Family Plan is $199/ month. If you use directory assistance, there will be a $1 charge per call. If you choose to add extra data, it’s $18/ GB. If you want to send data over text messaging, it’s an extra $6/ month. That’s it. Simple. Affordable.

How long will it take to get my device?

Once your order is placed, you will receive your device via USPS within two weeks. When you receive your device, it will be active and ready to talk, text, and surf the Internet!

How do I sign up?

Contact JumpWireless.org today! JumpWireless.org will charge you a non-refundable $35 for your phone deposit. When your phone is shipped, we will charge the remaining balance on your phone ($25), plus your monthly plan charge.
